How do I follow up after I’ve submitted my application, and will I receive notifications on the status of my application?

If you have specific questions about the status of your application, please contact the applicable state agency human resources department.  The contact information for state agency human resources departments can be found here.

 

What is a “continuous” posting?

A position with "continuous" listed as the closing date will be open until the position has been filled. 

 

Am I able to submit a paper application?

Under limited circumstances, agencies may permit applicants to submit a paper application.  If you are unable to complete the electronic application, contact the human resources department for the agency in which you are applying for information about alternate application methods.
